Privacy Policy

Effective 4 September 2026 ยท midll is operated by Mohan Deo in the United Kingdom.

This policy explains how midll handles personal information when helping people find a sweet spot and discover places and experiences in London.

Information we use

  • Account details such as email address, username, authentication provider and verification status.
  • Profile images, places, preferences, saved folders, social relationships and locations you choose to enter.
  • Search words, returned-place summaries and limited actions on search results, stored without an account or device identifier for service evaluation.
  • Reports, support messages and limited security and operational logs.
  • A record that you passed our 16+ check and accepted current policies. We check but do not store your birth date.

Why we use it

We use this information to provide and secure midll, calculate routes and suggestions, deliver verification email, support users, prevent abuse and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information or use it for cross-app advertising.

Profile-image safety checks

When you upload a profile image, midll first removes embedded metadata and converts it to a standard JPEG, then sends that image to Amazon Rekognition for an automated family-safe content check. A rejected image is not stored by midll and does not replace your current image. We retain only limited operational metrics and logs, not a copy of the rejected image. You can ask us to review a result by contacting support.

Service providers

Information needed to provide a feature may be processed by AWS, Google Maps/Places/Routes, Google or Apple authentication, OpenAI embeddings and Brevo email. For every place search, the words in your vibe request and bounded public venue evidence may also be sent to Voyage AI for semantic ranking. For users with event recommendations enabled, a bounded taste synopsis derived from their preferences and bounded public event evidence may also be sent to Voyage AI to rank relevant events. This evidence can include venue names and types, public attributes, OpenStreetMap tags, event descriptions, Google summaries and selected public review excerpts; account identity, saved locations, social relationships and participants' locations are not included in those ranking requests. Event-profile processing is enabled only with Voyage's zero-day data-retention setting. These providers may process data outside the UK under their applicable safeguards.

Visibility

Your username, profile image, follow relationships and content you deliberately make public may be visible to other users. Common locations remain private. Blocking and privacy controls limit social visibility.

Retention and deletion

Account information is kept while your account exists. Unverified accounts expire automatically. Short-lived caches may persist for up to 24 hours. Anonymous search evaluation records and operational logs are deleted after no more than 30 days. Deleting your account removes associated user data; pseudonymised abuse records may be retained for up to 24 months where necessary for safety, fraud prevention and enforcement.

Your choices and rights

You can update profile information, make content private, disable event recommendations, block users and permanently delete your account. Account deletion also removes derived event-taste snapshots, model judgements, caches and recommendations associated with your account. UK users may ask for access, correction, restriction, portability, objection or erasure, and may complain to the ICO.

Age

midll is for people aged 16 and over. Ineligible birth dates do not create an account and are not retained.
